Job Title: Cloud Security Senior Manager
Work Hours: First Shift (Remote) working mainly EST hours 8-5
Work Location: REMOTE (but please EST, CST or MST only)
We are seeking an Cloud Security Senior Manager for a remote position with a key client of ours in North America. A career in Cloud and Infrastructure Operations, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on developing and supporting our global internal infrastructure operations and security technologies. Using industry vendors such as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and other cloud platforms, you will design and implement innovative services for our network of firms. You'll be at the forefront of helping Internal Firm Services around the globe adopt innovative technology solutions that optimize business processes or enable scalable technology. Our team helps Internal Firm Services transform their network architecture and infrastructure to fundamentally change the role of Information Technology from a custodial asset to an orchestrator of business services. As part of the team, you'll focus on the infrastructure operations of data centers, including the design and implementation of network architecture and information storage to optimize innovation and program delivery for our Internal Firm Services.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Security Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Transitioning technology from a local focus to a central technology service organization.
- Select, test and implement infrastructure/security products, and technologies.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our stakeholders.
- Design, build, and deploy cloud infrastructure using automation tools such as Terraform, Packet, Vault, etc.
- Design and build security technology solutions aligned to a global central service environment using scripting languages such as JSON, Bash, Shell, Python, Java, etc.
- Implement Cloud/IT Security development strategies, projects, and transition to operations.
- Develop documentation for infrastructure/security solutions and processes.
- Identify areas of Cloud/IT security improvements and drive respective work stream activities.
- Provide Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security-related training to team members as required.
- Additional responsibilities will be added according to the Firm's alignment to current and future initiatives.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud and or Information Security field.
- 3+ years of experience in leading large-scale Infrastructure and or Information Security projects.
- Cloud System Architecture Experience: Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, Security Groups, Key Management.
- Designing and building security technology solutions aligned to a global central service environment.
- Experience in leading technology transitions from locally focused to centralized technology service organization.
- Understanding of RESTful Web Service and APIs, as well to design/develop automation flows.
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems administration.
- Experience with Application Builds and Integrations.
- IT and Security management best practice (ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards).
- Technical Root Cause Analysis.
- Consulting business experience in large consulting firms.
- Basic DevOps skills (Nice to Have but not required).
Desired Certifications / Skills:
- ISC2 CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional.
- ITIL Certification(s).
- Cloud computing certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services.
- Development Operations Tool Experience (Jenkins, Github, VSTS, Gitlab, TravisCI).
- Container Experience: Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm.
- Configuration Management Experience (Preferably Ansible and/or Puppet).
