The Cloud Systems Architect, Senior, will work closely with our clients and internal teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.This position has the possibility oftelework.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services hosted in multiple cloud environments.Provides Tier I/II and Tier 3 (Escalation to Architecture Team) resolution of customer capacity requests.Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to management and internal customers.Provide connectivity and utilization support to Cloud Infrastructure Services managed cloud environment customers.Provide customer support through chat, email and capacity request ticketing.Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.Basic Qualifications:At least eight (8) years of related work experienceA bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in related technical discipline. Four(4) years of additional CSA experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.Experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the skills to migrate applications to the cloud.Must Possess Strong knowledge of a wide range of cloud services and solutions like AWS, OpenStack and Microsoft Azure products.Must be able to deploy new cloud production, staging, and test environment.Should be able to develop with a DevOps approach for both Linux and Windows workloads using proven, cutting-edge cloud technologies including automation with Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker.Should be able to automate and deploy cloud infrastructures.Should be able to identify the most agile, scalable infrastructure, and select the best cloud services and technologies for customer projects and plan all implementation procedures.Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).Security Clearance Requirements:Current/Active TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements:Sedentary work, speaking, standing, talking, walking, working with computers, working with data, working with numbers and figures, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office and a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, leadership and listening skills, multi-tasking, ability, negotiating skills, oral & written communication skills, presentation skills, project management ability and skills, computer operating skills, and team building skills6.26.BP.SH.AB.AL.23For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
