Our client, a precision medical device and firearms manufacturing company, has an immediate need for an experienced CMM Programmer , to join our winning team in Middlefield. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to write, develop, validate and debug Zeiss Calypso CMM and MicroVu programs and provide the supporting QA documentation. Must be able to operate Zeiss Contura CMM and program with a CAD model in Calypso, Free Form and Curve Software. Design fixturing, manage and interpret data using QC Calc, Pi Web or other data collection and reporting software. Create inspection documents, balloon drawings, and Control Plans using Solidworks Inspection and Excel. Read drawings with GD&T, profiles, true position, datums, etc. Measure using an optical comparator, micrometers, height-stands, indicators, calipers, thread gages, V-blocks, Mahr Electronic Height Gage, and Mitutoyo Contractor. Create instructions and manage data using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Word, and Outlook. Utilize production data and reports using Enterprise Resource System, E2. Excellent problem-solving skills, highly analytical, use fact-based problem-solving methods with strong interpersonal team-building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
