Currently, we are seeking a certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) specializing in Substance Abuse Detox to support healthcare teams in providing quality care to patients undergoing detoxification.
As a CNA specializing in Substance Abuse Detox, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients during a challenging phase of their recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include offering compassionate care, monitoring patient behaviors, and helping with daily living activities as patients transition through the detox process. Hourly Rate: $23
Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday
Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report patients' vital signs and behavioral changes to the nursing staff and participate actively in care decisions.
- Engage with patients to provide emotional support and encouragement during their detox process.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following all infection control protocols.
- Document patient care and provide feedback to the care team regarding patient conditions.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and substance abuse support.
- Assisting the nurses.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNA training program.
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Experience working with patients in substance abuse recovery is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a behavioral health setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of substance abuse disorders and sensitivity to the challenges faced by patients undergoing treatment.
