Job Description:

• Position: CNA MS/Tele
• Location: Gig Harbor, WA 98332
• Pay scale: $33-$34/hour
• Locals: $30/hr
• Weekly Gross: $1,392.50/week ($1,116/week - Locals)
• Shift: Nights (12 hr shifts/3x's/week)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Cancellation Policy: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Start: 4^th Nov 2024

• Unit Type: Telemetry CNA
• Region III: Primary to Gig Harbor but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: Silverdale, WA; Gig Harbor, WA.
• Traveler MUST HAVE hospital experience!
• # of beds - 32 Bed Unit; 16 per side
• Ratios - Nights 1:16 Required Certifications - BLS
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients - Surgical Post-Op; General Medical Overflow
• Experience or 'Must have' skills E
• Job Duties: i.e. Blood Sugars, Insertion of Straight Catheter, EKGs, Insertion or Removal of IV's? EKG, PIU removal - under direction of RN
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes
• Weekend Requirement Yes
• Holiday Requirement - Yes
• Is there a call or standby requirement? No call; standby if staffed well
• Floating Requirements - Yes, need surg division
• Scrub Color/Dress Code - Ceil Blue scrubs; jacket or sweater must be Ceil Blue

Requirements:

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• AHA BLS required.
• 2 years' experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• SSN, DL & Covid Card
