CNA|Caregiver Apply
We have a client located in Farmington, Missouri. Pt has Hoyer lift and is a quad. Requires ROM, showers, feeding, and other light housekeeping duties.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Perform basic nursing procedures, such as gastric lavage and airway management
- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment
- Provide support to patients with special needs, such as behavioral health or pediatric patients
- Document patient care activities in electronic medical records systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience working with children or in behavioral health settings is a plus
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is preferred
