CNC Machine Maintenance Technician Apply
SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, the CNC Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on CNC and manual equipment. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams to ensure equipment is maintained efficiently and safely. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Repair and perform normal maintenance of production equipment such as CNC Machines and Manual Machines on the shop floor Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine tool equipment and controls Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues Identify and replace parts as necessary Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed Complete planned and preventative procedures Drain and Replace coolantWork based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions Other duties assigned by ManagerSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilitiesKnowledge of CNC machine design and operation Knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of High school diploma from a technical school (or GED) is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Ferry Machine Corporation is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
