Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our expanding team. You will play a crucial role in operating and setting up CNC machinery to ensure our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, millers, multi-turret machines, mill turn machines, and swiss machines.
• Conduct inspections and make necessary offsets to machines.
• Change off tools and run multiple machines simultaneously.
• Work in a high changeover environment, understanding and executing changeovers efficiently.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in setup and operation of CNC lathes, multi-turret machines, and mill-turn machines.
• Proficiency with HAAS, Okuma, and other mentioned machinery.
• Working knowledge of G-Code for programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect work using Standard Measurement Test Equipment (SMTE).
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with specialty metals and inventory control.
• Familiarity with 5-axis milling machines and CNC milling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of VERNON, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
