The Opportunity: Our CNC Associates play a key role in supporting our CNC production department by helping ensure our machines run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position focuses on machine setup and operation, maintaining product quality, and supporting day-to-day production needs in a high-volume manufacturing environment. (This role is for 3rd shift - 10PM - 6AM) This role is based in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. In This Role, You Will: Setup, edit, and maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding machines Operate equipment within established cycle times and performance expectations Perform first piece inspection and in-process inspections to ensure product quality Use precision measurement and inspection equipment Follow engineering documentation including Support teammates by assisting with equipment uptime and efficient production flow Work safely around moving equipment and machine components while using required PPE (protective eyewear and safety footwear) You'll Bring: High school diploma or GED, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend English 6+ months related experience in a CNC / tooling / manufacturing setting Working knowledge of decimal and metric measurements, including conversions Basic math skills including: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division Fractions, decimals, and related equations Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Solid communication skills and a reliable, team-first attitude Comfort working independently under direct supervision Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology 3 to 5 years CNC tool and cutter grinding experience Where You'll Work: You'll work in a manufacturing environment in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, with exposure to moving equipment, machine parts, and varying temperatures (heat/cold). PPE is required, and overtime may be required or available based on business needs. Compensation begins at $18.49 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Candidates with strong manufacturing or CNC backgrounds may be considered at a higher starting rate.
