As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: EAST MOLINE, IL Pay Range: $22 What's the Job? Operate CNC machines including Bridgeports, manual lathes, CNC lathes, and mills to produce precision parts. Perform offsets, machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance. Read and utilize measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers for quality control. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. What's Needed? Working knowledge and actual experience working with various measuring instruments such as tape measures, dial calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge blocks and surface gauges. Knowledge of machine shop mathematics and CNC programming. Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals. Standing, bending, moderate to heavy lifting and ability to do long hours of repetitive work. Ability to understand and complete departmental paperwork. Teamwork-oriented and quality conscious. Accurate and detail oriented. Experience working with hand tools, drills and sanders. Trained in proper use of other assembly line equipment including forklifts, overhead hoists, and pallet jacks.
