Position Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per specifications. Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices. Monitor operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and consistency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Perform routine machine maintenance and document completed tasks. Troubleshoot CNC equipment issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations and participate in regular safety training. Cross-train in other manufacturing processes as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; CNC machining certification preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM software. Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls. Skilled in using precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Safety-conscious and quality-driven mindset. Physical Requirements Ability to bend, lift, and push up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
