Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled CNC Operators for immediate openings across our day and night shifts to produce complex, high-precision machined components. This role requires technical mastery in setting up and operating advanced machinery, including Vertical Mills, Bore/Mills, and both CNC and Manual Lathes. You will be responsible for maintaining tight tolerances and ensuring the structural integrity of critical parts, translating technical blueprints into finished products that meet rigorous aerospace, medical, or industrial standards.

Whats in it for you This position offers a high-stakes production environment where your manual and technical skills are the primary focus. We provide the stability of multiple shift options (Day and Night) to fit your lifestyle, along with the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-precision projects that challenge your expertise. You will be part of a team that respects the craft of machining, offering a path to further technical certification and professional advancement within a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities include

  • Set up and operate vertical milling centers to produce high-precision parts, ensuring all dimensions align with engineering specifications.
  • Execute complex boring and milling operations on large-scale or intricate components, maintaining extreme accuracy over long production cycles.
  • Master both automated and manual turning processes to shape components, managing tool offsets and manual adjustments as required.
  • Consistently produce complex components with tight tolerances, monitoring machine performance and part quality throughout the shift.
  • Perform comprehensive machine setups, including tool selection, fixture installation, and initial part proving.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T symbols to ensure parts are machined to exact customer requirements.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) to verify part dimensions and maintain zero-defect standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and identify mechanical or programming issues to minimize downtime.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on Complex High Precision Machined Components.
  • Proven proficiency in operating CNC Vertical Mills, Bore/Mills, or Lathes (CNC and Manual).
  • Ability to work effectively on either Day or Night shift schedules.
  • Advanced knowledge of blueprint reading, shop math, and GD&T.
  • Experience with various metals and alloys, understanding their unique machining characteristics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience, education, certifications, and specific job-related skills.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Includes premium health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and eligibility for an incentive recognition bonus program.
