Primary Scope: Northern Gear and Machining, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our facility by maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and building components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and perform repairs various CNC machinery including lathes, mills, hobs and grinders.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues in machines and equipment, specifically those electrical controls (Fanuc).
• Execute comprehensive repairs, preventative maintenance, and major overhauls at times to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain essential plant support equipment and perform miscellaneous facility repairs..
• Apply welding and electrical experience as needed for equipment and perform miscellaneous facility repairs.
• Interpret and utilize technical manuals effectively.
• Adhere to and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures.
• The duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time

Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance roles
• Strong capability in welding and electrical tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Wage is based on experience.
• $25 / hr. and up.
