Job Description

• The self-motivated candidate performs machine work on CNC Horizontal & Vertical Milling, Drilling, and Boring Machines.
• Must be able to set machine up and run proficiently upon completed training.
• Be able to edit new and existing programs as needed and actively contribute to quality initiatives to increase productivity and gain efficiencies.
• Candidate must be able to read blueprints, micrometre, callipers and other standard measuring equipment.
• Some experience of formal metalworking helpful.
• Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• When called upon to do so the incumbent utilizes acquired cross-functional training skills to assist and reduce the workload demands of other critical departments.

Education And/Or Experience

• Minimum of two-year related trade school training or equivalent job-related experience.
