Shifts Available 1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM 2nd Shift Perks Include $1.00/hr shift premium Position Summary The CNC Machinist is responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of parts to print specifications using a variety of machining centers. This role also supports machine maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual machine tools Manufacture parts according to print specifications and tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, routings, and specifications Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring equipment Perform dimensional checks on all diameters and critical features Safely operate overhead cranes to move large materials and parts Maintain machine shop equipment and work areas Train and support other team members on proper and safe equipment operation Collaborate with team members to proactively solve problems Additional Responsibilities (As Needed) Perform routine machine maintenance Assist in developing more efficient manufacturing procedures Deburr parts when production schedules allow Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of CNC machining experience Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol or similar CNC software Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Strong math skills, including geometry and metric conversions Effective oral and written communication skills Experience using precision measuring tools Physical Requirements Regularly lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands Use of foot controls for machine operation Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment Required PPE: safety glasses and safety shoes Tools & Equipment Used CNC and production manufacturing equipment Micrometers, gage blocks, height gages, verniers Hand tools, wrenches, and computer-assisted software Work Environment Manufacturing/factory setting Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles Loud noise environment #IND1 Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr
