Cnc Machinist Apply
We are looking for a CNC operator to add to our growing department within our company. We are an Engineering/Fabricating firm that designs and builds bridge structural components, mainly bridge bearings. Most of the parts we work with are heavy steel, requiring the use of overhead cranes to lift and load the parts into the machines. We are looking for an operator with some experience with mills and lathes, that is self-motivated and looking to join an established company with a great work environment.
Responsibilities would include the following:
- Loading CNC programs onto machines through USB drive.
- Loading parts on and off of CNC machines.
- Operating overhead crane
- Forklift Operation
- Labeling Parts
- Setting up CNC Tooling and parts on machines
- Measurement of Parts / Quality Control
Requirements
- The ability to read and interpret shop drawings/prints
- Any previous experience handling large heavy parts are a plus
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
