This role supports high-mix production and continuous improvement in a tightly controlled aerospace environment. We’re hiring Machinist II and Machinist III talent—from developing machinists to fully independent setup experts.

What You’ll Do\n

\n
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions
\n
• Set offsets, zeros, and perform light program edits
\n
• Apply G-code / M-code knowledge and proper tooling
\n
• Adjust feeds and speeds for drills, taps, and reamers
\n
• Set up fixtures using edge finders and indicators
\n
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and indicators
\n
• Perform basic deburring and daily machine checks
\n
• Follow 5S and Lean Manufacturing standards
\n

Machinist III Scope (as applicable):

\n
• Independent CNC setup with minimal supervision
\n
• Review and edit programs to improve cycle time and quality
\n
• Collaborate with engineering on machining improvements
\n
• Document setup changes and best practices
\n
• Provide guidance to less-experienced machinists
\n

Machines & Controls\n

\n
• 4 & 5-Axis CNC Mills: DMG Mori, Makino
\n
• Mill-Turn Machines: DMG Mori
\n
• Controls: Fanuc/Siemens 840D
\n

What We’re Looking For\n

Required

\n
• High School Diploma or GED
\n
• Blueprint reading and basic GD&T comprehension
\n
• CNC machining experience
\n
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and detail
\n
• Dependable and adaptable team player
\n

Experience

\n
• Machinist II: 1+ year experience
\n
• Machinist III: 7–10 years experience with independent setup
\n
