CNC Machinist Apply
Job Description
Summary:
This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines, to manufacture precision parts based on technical drawings and specifications. The candidate will be responsible for writing and optimizing CNC programs using WorkNC and/or PowerMill, setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, and ensuring product quality through inspections. Daily tasks include milling, drilling, turning, tapping, de-burring, and sanding, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area. The position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to efficiency, and the ability to run multiple machines concurrently.
Job Requirements:
Ability to operate CNC machines with complex setups and manipulate programs for optimal performance.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
Comfortable with physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working on multiple machines.
Job Qualifications:
5–10 years of CNC machining experience, with strong skills in 5-axis milling and programming using WorkNC and/or PowerMill.
High school diploma required; a CNC machinist certificate or degree is an asset.
Strong mathematical, technical decision-making, and communication skills for team-based environments.
