CNC Machinist Join a well-established, privately-held manufacturer known for high-precision component fabrication serving a diverse client base across industrial sectors. They are rapidly growing and looking to expand their first-shift machining team with a skilled and dependable CNC professional. The ideal candidate will set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce custom components according to exact specifications. You’ll join a team that values craftsmanship and precision, where your skills will be recognized and developed. This Role Offers: Opportunity to work in a clean, organized, and technician-focused shop. Supportive leadership with direct access to decision-makers. A rare chance to build tenure with a stable and forward-looking company. A stable work schedule with two available shifts to suit your lifestyle: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Focus: Configure and run CNC milling and turning equipment, along with manual machines such as vertical mills, engine lathes, band saws, hydraulic presses, and sheet metal brakes. Interpret and work from technical blueprints and drawings to produce custom components. Ensure high standards of precision using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Adjust feed speeds, tooling, and cutting paths based on material and product specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment in alignment with internal safety protocols. Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to reduce downtime. Contribute to a positive shop culture by supporting continuous improvement and collaboration. Skill Set: 1–3+ years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a machinist training program. Experience with mold work or small-part machining is preferred but not required. Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM systems a plus (training available on in-house platforms). Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active during shift (standing, bending, lifting).
