We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program CNC mills/lathes using G-code, CAM software, or machine controls (Haas/Fanuc/Mazak or similar).

  • Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and materials for production runs.

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to determine machining operations.

  • Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain tolerances.

  • Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.

  • Optimize machining processes for speed, accuracy, and tool life.

  • Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow all safety procedures.

  • Troubleshoot machine or programming issues to minimize downtime.

  • Work with engineering and production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Complete documentation and maintain production records.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both).

  • CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM, or conversational).

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

  • Proficient in setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of machining speeds/feeds, tooling selection, and materials.

  • Ability to maintain tight tolerances.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar controls.

  • Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or other CAM software.

  • Welding or fabrication experience.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
