Job SummaryIf you enjoy CNC programming, machining, and problem solving, Yakima Machine is looking to add a CNC Machinist to our team!In this role you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and ensuring that products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts to customer specifications.Write and edit CNC programs manually and using MastercamPerform setups, tooling changes, and adjustments as necessary for production runs.Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to inspect finished products for accuracy.Collaborate with other machinists to develop tooling solutions that enhance production efficiency.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.ExperienceDemonstrated experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Experience programming and operating CNC lathes and milling machinesFamiliarity with Mastercam and Haas/Fanuc controls a plusKnowledge of other metal fabrication processes and welding a plusStrong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
