Job Title: CNC Machinist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in all production runs. The ideal candidate is experienced in machining, setup, and quality inspection, with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss lathes.
• Perform quality inspections using optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers.
• Interpret part drawings and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize GD&T principles and perform deburring as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and troubleshoot machinery.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Machinery & Technologies:

• CNC Mills (3-5 axis VMC, Horizontal Machining Centers).
• CNC Lathes (2-5 axis).
• CNC Swiss Lathes (Star, Citizen, Tsugami, etc.).
• ERP software, optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers.

Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and work instructions.
• Proficient in operating CNC lathes (Miyano, Mori) and milling machines (Makino, HAAS, Brother).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and intermediate math skills (geometry and trigonometry).
• Experience with visual inspection of small parts using microscopes.
• Knowledge of CNC tooling, G-Code/M-Code programming, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
