Overview Carolinas Staffing is looking for CNC Operators in Leland, NC! Job Summary As a Machine Operator you will run repeat proven parts with low to intermediate complexity. You will receive direction and will be overseen by the area Lead, Supervisor, or qualified area Machinist. Responsibilities Responsible for utilizing shop paper procedures including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders Inspect and measure parts as needed, and complete in-process inspections. For any discrepancies notify supervision. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. Alert Lead or Supervisor to any issue(s) on job or machine. Clean and maintains machines, working area, tooling and parts in optimal production condition. Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Visual acuity: near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts Hearing ability: ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action Frequently required to stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floor Frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must have experience with CNC machines Safety Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices Knowledge of Shop safety practices and use of PPE Pay and Hours Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour Depending on experience. Hours/Shifts Second Shift: 4:00pm-2:30am Monday - Thursday Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 6am to 6pm . Will be paid for 40 hours.
