We specialize in complex weldments and turn‑key finished products, offering rapid response cut, form, and machining support. Summary of Position Under general supervision, the CNC Programmer & Operator will be responsible for programming and operating commercial factory machines with live tooling that turn raw metals into usable components. This position reads blueprints and CAD files to understand dimensions, tolerance, and feature requirements, creating and modifying CNC programs and setting up machines for new or existing operations. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate high‑speed multi‑axis CNC vertical mills and turning centers. Work on HAAS CNC Machines and G&L Boring Bar. Create programs using Fusion 360, G‑Code and other software. Read electronic technical drawings (CAD) and set up new or modify existing CNC machine programs to meet part specifications. Interpret blueprints and measuring devices. Handle machine setup, tools and fixturing for new or existing programs. Identify required tooling or work‑holding devices. Submit purchase requests for new cutting and holding tools and fixtures. Perform required daily as well as monthly preventative maintenance on equipment. Help evaluate and identify improvements to programming and equipment efficiencies. Validate first‑article CNC manufactured parts. Operate various secondary machining equipment. Safely operate basic hand and power tools. Perform repetitive tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical trade education or associate’s degree is preferred. 5 or more years of prior experience operating and programming CNC machines required. Proficiency with computer software and MS Office Suite (Word, Windows, Excel) preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Detail‑orientated, problem‑solving skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
