Cnc Operator Apply
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC equipment within the Turning, Milling, or Swiss department while ensuring all parts meet quality and customer specifications. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, in-process inspection capabilities, and the ability to make minor machine adjustments to maintain precision and efficiency.
- 1st Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift (Priority): 3:45 PM – 12:30 AM (+10% shift differential)
- Overtime: Unlimited available (including Saturdays)
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform in-process inspections using appropriate measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Make tool offset adjustments as needed to maintain part accuracy
- Follow company procedures for tagging, inspection, and documentation
- Ensure all tools and gages are properly calibrated and up to date
- Work closely with supervisors and the Quality team to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Follow lean manufacturing practices and established shop procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines as required
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures
- Remain flexible to support overtime needs when required
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of CNC machining experience (Turning, Milling, or Swiss preferred)
- Ability to perform accurate in-process inspection
- Basic understanding of CNC controls and tool offset adjustments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
