We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer with expertise in Mastercam and/or Fusion 360 to join our precision machining team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming and operating CNC machines, and will be responsible for full-cycle job executionfrom programming to setup, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using Mastercam and/or Fusion 360
- Set up and operate the machines you program to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency
- Design and set up fixtures for new jobs, ensuring repeatability and precision
- Collaborate with production team to streamline workflow and reduce cycle times
- Maintain documentation for programs, setups, and tooling
- Apply creative problem-solving and outside-the-box thinking to improve processes
- Experience with lathe and mill-turn programming is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of G-code and CNC machine operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
- Leadership qualities and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years of CNC programming experience
- Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Fusion 360
- Experience with 5-axis milling operations
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
