As we establish a new prototype manufacturing facility in Banbury, we are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Programmer / Operator to join our engineering team.This role offers hands-on involvement across machining, design support, and prototype electric motor assembly.The RoleYou will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision prototype components.Key responsibilities:Program, set, and operate a Mazak 5-axis milling machineProgram, set, and operate a Haas CNC latheDevelop and optimise CNC programs for prototype and low-volume productionProvide Design for Manufacture (DFM) input during the design phaseManufacture precision electric motor components to tight tolerancesCarry out first-off and in-process inspectionsPlay an active role in prototype electric motor assemblySupport continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and fixturesAbout YouProven experience as a CNC Programmer / OperatorStrong experience with 5-axis milling (Mazak preferred)Experience programming and operating CNC lathes (Haas preferred)Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD modelsHigh attention to detail and qualityComfortable working in a fast-paced prototype environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (DOE)Involvement in next-generation EV powertrain developmentA key role in shaping a new prototype facility
