Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC machines manufacturing steel molds for the rubber industry. This role is hands-on and requires the ability to program at the machine controls, perform setups and changeovers, and run production efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. You’ll work independently in a small, well-maintained shop environment with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines to manufacture steel molds, including writing and editing programs at the controls
- Set up and operate up to three (3) Fadal CNC machines
- Perform tooling changes, program edits, and production changeovers
- Operate CNC equipment to produce finished parts that meet customer specifications
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, along with lathes and mills as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience programming and operating CNC machines
- Strong setup experience, including tooling and offsets
- Proficient in reading prints and using precision measuring tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to learn and absorb knowledge from experienced former employees during transition
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal education or training in CNC programming or machining
- Interest and potential to grow into a lead or shop management role over time

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lawnside, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
Willing to pay for right candidate up to 40/hr. Even consider paying 5K signing bonus. We talked about paying that after 6 months as a bonus 401K Health Benefits and Insurance PTO/Vacation 8AM to 4PM schedule, could probably be somewhat flexible if needed They don't have to work OT or Weekends unless they really wanted to
