CNC Programmer-Direct HireThis role focuses on programming and supporting CNC machining operations, with an emphasis on 3-axis and 5-axis routers and CNC mills. You will create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam and SolidWorks, prepare machines for production, load jobs, and oversee machining processes to ensure high-quality output and efficient workflow.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis routers and CNC mills using Mastercam.Use SolidWorks models and drawings to generate accurate toolpaths and machining strategies.Prepare CNC machines for production by setting up tools, fixtures, and workpieces.Load and run CNC programs, monitoring operations to ensure parts meet specifications.Oversee machining processes, making adjustments as needed to improve quality and efficiency.Collaborate with a small production team to coordinate workflows and meet production schedules.Troubleshoot programming and machining issues and implement corrective actions.Maintain organized program files and documentation for repeat and new jobs.Support continuous improvement initiatives in CNC programming and machining practices.Essential Skills35 years of CNC programming experience.Hands-on experience programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers.Experience programming CNC mills.Proficiency with Mastercam for creating and editing CNC programs.Ability to work from SolidWorks models and drawings for programming.Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding.Ability to prepare, load, and oversee CNC machines during production.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a small production team environment.Comfort working with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.Strong problem-solving skills for resolving programming and machining issues.Good communication skills to coordinate with production and other stakeholders.Why Work Here?You join a growing organization that invests in modern facilities and offers a high level of autonomy in this role. The standard schedule runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The environment centers around CNC routers and CNC mills, with programming tools such as Mastercam and SolidWorks used daily. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety on the production floor, and the facility operates as a professional manufacturing environment focused on quality and efficiency.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
