CNC Programmer Job Title: CNC Programmer Euclid, OH 1st Shift Work Schedule: Monday-Friday : 7:00AM - 4:00PM Job Description: Summary of Position: This position is accountable for developing work holding fixtures, CNC programs and tool layouts in support of implementation of new equipment in a factory setting. Focus will be converting products from a manual operation to CNC automation utilizing Okuma horizontal mills machines. Principal Accountabilities Lead in the ramp up of new CNC equipment by creating programs and work holding fixtures. Identify and order new tooling for the creation or improvement of programs as required. Design new jigs, tools, fixtures, and provide technical direction to production personnel. Supervise the validation of new program roll out and communicate the process effectively with engineers, quality, and production personnel. Collaborate daily with manufacturing engineers concerning machining and operational challenges. Highlight quality problems relative to the conversion of products to CNC based machining and provide technical direction to implement corrective actions and error proofing. Train CNC machine operators on new machining technologies as needed. Nature and Scope Be pro-active in developing machine programs. Work collaboratively to obtain the best results for the company and maximize use of resources. Understand and abide by a high standard of professional ethics, to ensure the integrity of the department and the work performed. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in CNC programming for multi-axis Mazak milling machines using Mastercam. Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software, with preference given to experience in CATIA V5. Basic Qualifications Min 5 years of experience is required with proven ability writing program for CNC machining centers and developing work holding fixtures. 4 years of experience in supporting a manufacturing environment. Experience using SolidWorks, Mastercam, AutoCad and experienced in G-code. Must be legally authorized to work in the Client States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
