SUMMARY

Fast growing aerospace company producing aluminum parts is looking for an eager driven person to work in a new 3 axis gantry mill. This position would require programming, hands on machining and working on various other equipment. Responsibility for achievement of high quality, low cost, safety and on-time performance goals and development of advanced methods and techniques to increase productivity. This is a very fast paced environment.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Fanuc 0i-MF control (3 Axis) Gantry Mill
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds
• Must be able to:
  • Program drill and tapping cycles and face milling routines.
  • Set and load cutting tools.
  • Perform required post machining operations (deburr/beveling)
  • Safely load and unload parts
  • Perform setups.
  • Monitor and request cutting tools.
  • Perform operational maintenance (coolant/way oil/etc )
  • Recommend efficiency improvements on existing programs.

Experience & Education

• Experience in Renishaw probe and software use on the machine. Trade school or equivalent experience.
• Previous, relevant, work experience in Aerospace (Aluminum Forging environment is highly preferred).
• Mastercam / SolidWorks CAM
• 3-8 years Manual Machining experience
• 3 years forklift experience
