CNC Programmer

Job Number: R0242947 CNC Programmer The Opportunity Produces CNC programs in support of production to produce precision fabricated components and finished products. Applies technical expertise and industry knowledge to programs and projects. Will assist in the development of solutions to complex fabrication problems. Works with minimal supervision within established procedures and practices. May serve as informal lead or mentor to more junior team members. Qualifications 7+ years of experience machining and programming using Mastercam for CNC programming in a manufacturing and production environment 7+ years of experience writing and editing machine code and G-code using CAM software Experience with interpreting technical drawings, 3D CAD models, and engineering specifications Experience with machine set‑up including assisting or directing machine operators in setting up tooling, fixtures, and materials for production Knowledge of tooling selection to include selection the appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates to optimize production and ensure precision Knowledge of machining principles, tool wear, and material properties Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, 3D CAD models, and engineering specifications Ability to obtain a Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation Salary range $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00.
