CNC PROGRAMMER/SETUP MACHINIST Full Time, Ossining, NY, US Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Annually We are a carbon manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist to join our team. This position requires a skilled individual who can program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC equipment while maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machines Set up CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and VMCs (Vertical Machining Centers) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Select appropriate tooling and make necessary machine adjustments Perform first-piece inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs as needed Maintain quality, safety, and production standards Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist Hands‑on experience with CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and VMCs Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and tolerances Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment Compensation Up to $30 per hour, based on experience Opportunity to work with a stable carbon manufacturing company in a hands‑on, production‑driven environment Interview Process Qualified candidates will be asked to demonstrate their programming ability by creating a CNC program during the interview process.
