Cnc ProgrammerFAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP. - LOCATED IN WALLKILL, NEW YORK - 12589 has an immediate opening for a full-time CNC Programmer on our 1st shift.Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMBenefits for Full Time Employees:Salary $26.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experienceMedical, Dental and Vision insurance401(k) plan with Employer MatchPaid VacationPaid Sick TimeManufacturing Training programs and apprenticeships through the Council of IndustryResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Program complex parts in the Vision System.Program complex parts in the CMM.Ability to write programs for the CNC's.Trouble shoot and correct issues with the CNC software.Develop cutting tools and fixtures for the CNC's.Ability to run/setup CNC's, detect issues and make corrections.Assist fellow toolmakers when needed.Lead by example demonstrating proper shop techniques.Perform work with tolerance of + / .00025 or better.Other non-essential duties may be assigned as necessary.Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards for which Fair Rite is certifiedFollow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy.QualificationsMinimum Education / Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)minimum of 2 4 years on the job training and or experience related to CNC ProgrammingPreferred Education / Experience Requirements:AAS Machine Tool Technology or Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or other relevant roleRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to follow written and oral communicationKnowledge of computer-aided drafting software (CAD) and or SolidworksKnowledge of computer-aided machining (CAM)Knowledge of CNC programmingAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to use data collection / SPCPC / Computer skillsAbility to use CMS / ERP system is recommendedMust have good problem solving skillsMust have excellent time management skillsMust be highly detail orientedAbility to accurately handle all hand held precise measuring instrumentsStrong mathematical skillsMust be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
