This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented environment and wants to make a visible impact on production performance and process optimization.In this role, you will serve as a key technical expert supporting CNC programming across multiple production areas. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and automation teams to develop high‑quality programs, improve machining efficiencies, and support strategic equipment initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong CNC programming experience, a passion for precision, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining centers.Convert engineering drawings (2D/3D) into accurate machine‑ready programs.Collaborate with engineers and machine operators to troubleshoot issues and refine programming strategies.Enhance toolpaths, improve material utilization, and ensure alignment with safety and quality standards.Support continuous improvement projects, automation initiatives, and new equipment integration.Maintain documentation and program libraries to ensure consistent machining practices across the facility.Contribute technical insights to improve manufacturability, reduce cycle times, and strengthen overall equipment performance.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field).3+ years of hands‑on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.Demonstrated experience programming 3‑axis and 5‑axis machines.Ability to interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering schematics.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.Experience with PLC programming or robotics.Prior leadership, mentorship, or project coordination responsibilities.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process‑improvement methodologies.Compensation Range: $90,000 - $120,000Benefits Offered: 2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.If you are a passionate CNC Programming Manufacturing Engineer looking for a new and rewarding career, please apply today!You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity!LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment—and in the placement of top talent.
