Position Overview :The CNC Tooling Apprentice will assist in the programming, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce precision components and tooling for manufacturing. This role is designed for individuals eager to gain technical skills and grow their expertise in CNC machining and programming within a structured, hands-on environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Learn to read and interpret detailed blueprints to ensure precision in projects.
• Gain experience with Mastercam software for CNC programming.
• Support the building and repair of molds and tooling under the guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Learn and adhere to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Requirements

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Interest in CNC programming and machining.
• Basic knowledge of tools and machining concepts is preferred.
• Ability to learn blueprint reading and CAD programming.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive and safety-conscious mindset.
