Location: Taylors, SC

Shift: 1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $27 – $33/hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled CNC Wire Machine Set-Up Technician to set up and operate CNC coiling and wire-forming machines used to produce a variety of spring and wire components. This role is responsible for machine setup, quality verification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC coiling and wire-forming machines to meet production requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, job routers, sketches, and technical data to determine setup procedures and tooling requirements
• Prepare, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and materials on machines
• Verify setups meet quality and specification standards
• Load or develop programs in machine controllers and complete setup sheets for new parts
• Monitor production, gauge parts for conformance, and adjust machine controls as needed
• Train operators on production parameters to ensure consistent product quality
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Maintain a safe, organized, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Experience with Itaya MX40 or Herdon CSX-35 machines is required
• 2–3 years of related CNC setup or wire-forming experience; technical certificate or equivalent training preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances
• Strong mathematical aptitude (fractions, decimals, geometry)
• Proficient in problem solving and machine troubleshooting
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC machine controllers
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
