If so.. We are Super Sports Stars, the premier children’s sports organization in the nation.

For over 20 years, Soccer Stars has been the premier youth educational soccer program throughout the country. Dynamic coaches work with groups of children to develop skills and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment, reaching over 100,000 participants each year.


ROLE:

We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills to assist in the training and development of coaches in the Bay Area. Responsibilities also include leading fun and engaging soccer classes for kids and helping with the distribution of equipment. There is potential for this role to transition into a full-time position in the future.

Schedule:

  • Availability must include Saturday or Sunday. Schedule to be determined by Regional Manager
  • Weekday availability must include hours between 1:30-5:30pm
  • Up to 20 hours per week starting out

Salary:

Starting at $25 per hour

COACHING DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate the distribution, and upkeep of equipment and uniform needs throughout the Bay Area Region
  • Supervise and evaluate coaches to ensure the overall quality of the program
  • Conduct regular coach training and development meetings for all new and existing coaches
  • Track and resolve escalated quality control issues in accordance with organizational practices
  • Keep track of coaches' developmental pathways, requirements, and performance
  • Assist/Teach energetic and motivating camps and classes in an organized, safe, and fun manner.

Requirements

  • Soccer playing background preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children required
  • Minimum of two years of coaching or teaching experience and practical application
  • Ability to commute up to 45minutes one way for classes.
  • Must be fun, energetic, patient, and attentive
  • Detail-oriented with strong oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with staffing and scheduling systems is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
