• This is an onsite role requiring strong mainframe expertise with COBOL and CICS, along with exposure to modern technologies such as Java, .NET, and APIs.

About

We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer to support application development and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong mainframe experience, hands-on exposure to APIs, and the ability to work collaboratively within a technical team.

Must Have

• COBOL development experience
• Strong experience with CICS
• Hands-on experience with Web Services & APIs
• Working knowledge of Java
• Working knowledge of .NET (C#, Visual Basic)
• Experience with VSAM and ADS/O
• Experience with databases:
  • DB2
  • IDMS
  • MySQL
  • SQL-based databases

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer
• Ability to design, develop, test, and implement COBOL applications
• Experience analyzing, debugging, and resolving production issues
• Strong documentation skills (technical specs, user manuals)
• Experience conducting code reviews
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Provide technical support to internal users and external clients
