Commercial Co‑ordinator (Crewe Based) £26,000 – £31,000 DOE Crewe | Full-TimeAre you highly organised, detail‑driven and passionate about supporting commercial operations? We’re looking for a Commercial Co‑ordinator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, driving commercial performance, and ensuring operational excellence across our contracts.Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, this role offers variety, development and the opportunity to work closely with teams across the business. Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Customer SupportProvide day‑to‑day support to the Commercial Manager, including priorities, mentoring and personal development planning.Assist with customer contract review meetings, including preparation, minute-taking, action logging and follow‑up.Maintain the customer contract register, contract variations, review minutes, commercial proposals and all associated documentation.CRM & Data ReportingLead the day‑to‑day maintenance of the CRM system and support its mobilisation.Co‑ordinate commercial team input into customer account plans.Produce KPI dashboards and performance reports using CRM data.Periodically co‑ordinate and report depot capacity utilisation for commercial offers and enquiries.Social Value & ComplianceOversee contractual Social Value compliance and reporting.Track Social Value KPIs and actions with project teams.Liaise with Rail Services Social Value teams to share best practice for future tenders.Governance, Risk & Process ImprovementFacilitate and record monthly internal commercial governance reviews, ensuring audit readiness.Maintain the commercial risk register and management of change register.Develop consistent “lessons learned” processes across bids and projects.Document commercial processes to ensure full compliance with Arriva Group and ATC quality standards.Promote best practice sharing across projects and Arriva Group businesses.Financial & Mobilisation SupportSupport contract indexation reviews and revenue forecasting.Monitor and report actions from annual customer satisfaction surveys.Prepare mobilisation packs post-contract award and support SAP updates.Assist in preparing proposals for new enquiries, tenders and contract variations.Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Commercial Manager. Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.Strong commercial awareness and exceptional attention to detail.Ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively and influence both internal and external stakeholders.Strong IT proficiency (MS Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, SAP, Power BI and Outlook).Able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines while delivering excellent customer service.Understanding of the rail industry, Arriva Group, Rail Services Business Unit and ATC activities (preferred).Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently within established processes and guidelines.Flexibility to travel across ATC sites as required.Full, valid UK driving licence essential.
