Join one of the fastest growing contractors in the U.S. We are seeking a Commercial Estimator to join our team. This contractor provides the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and accomplished professionals in the industry. We offer competitive wages, great benefits, and a tremendous amount of growth potential. Responsibility Summary Construction Estimator:
- Review and analyze construction project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gain a deep understanding of project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Proficiency with takeoff software (Active Takeoff, which is similar to Planswift and Onscreen).
- Utilize industry-standard estimating methods and tools to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for all aspects of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, and other related expenses.
- Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings, identifying the quantities of materials required for each phase of the project.
- Solicit quotes and proposals from various vendors and subcontractors to ensure the most competitive pricing and availability of resources.
- Prepare detailed bid packages, cost breakdowns, and other required documentation for submission to clients, ensuring all bid requirements are met.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project objectives.
