We are seeking a PowerPoint Presentation Expert to lead marketing and commercial presentation development efforts. This role demands exceptional hands-on expertise in PowerPoint design, with a sharp eye for aligning with corporate brand guidelines. The candidate will transform operational, commercial and marketing data into visually compelling, clear, and persuasive presentations for internal leadership, clients, and internal stakeholders. 

Location: Cary, NC; 2-3 days in-office

Employment type: 6-month contract; 40 hours per week

Main responsibilities: 

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of PowerPoint presentations for marketing, commercial, and executive-level use.
  • Ensure all presentation materials strictly adhere to brand guidelines, templates, and style standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing, commercial, and leadership teams to design slide decks that communicate corporate narratives with clarity and visual impact.
  • Translate data and insights into visually structured charts, infographics, and layouts.
  • Review and refine existing presentations to enhance visual storytelling and consistency across business units.
  • Manage template libraries and presentation assets to ensure version control and brand compliance.
  • Support commercial communication needs, including proposal decks, client-facing materials, and conference presentations.
  • Stay current with design trends and presentation technologies to continuously elevate visual communication quality.

Requirements

Who are we looking for:  

You are a recent graduate from a local college or university in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area ready to get hands-on experience in a marketing role with a company that truly values your creativity and desire to learn. You thrive in an agile, collaborative environment and want to be part of a team making a real impact.  

  • Located near Cary, NC - able to come into the office at least 2 days per week.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / graphic design is preferred.
  • 1+ years of working experience in creating professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, brand-compliant presentation designs
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent visual communication skills, including data visualization, infographic creation, and storytelling through slides.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Pharma/Life Science companies is a plus.
