ob Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role specializes in servicing unitary systems such as rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, and packaged units, with opportunities for growth into chiller service work. If you have experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, and heat pumps in commercial settings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on HVAC systems.
  • Work on low-temperature refrigeration systems as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Test system operations, calibrate controls, and ensure units are performing efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate repair recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local HVAC regulations.
  • Travel to client sites in a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled service calls.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
  • Strong background in servicing rooftop units (RTUs), packaged units, and split systems.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Experience with low-temperature refrigeration systems preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical HVAC issues efficiently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with boilers, chillers, cooling towers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation controls and BAS systems is beneficial.
  • HVAC Journeyman or higher-level certification is preferred.
