The Senior Estimator is responsible for maintaining customer contact, generating business consistent with company profit and quality objectives, coordinating schedules with other departments, assuring timely billings, collections, and maintaining control over all correspondence as relates to change orders and other job issues.

The Estimator is expected to:

·        Inspect roofs, analyze problems, estimate costs and find solutions to the customer’s concerns.  Solutions are not to be limited to roof replacement but rather all  roof related products and services.

·        Prepare estimates and proposals, set a time to review with Vice President and President.

·        Coordinate job scheduling with all parties.

·        Review job at the site with operations personnel prior to start (pre-construction meeting)

·        Obtain advance billings when possible.

·        Maintain contact with customer as circumstances and changes to contract dictate throughout the project.

·        Oversee all paperwork related to the job.

·        Provide and deliver all close out documentation.

·        Review actual and estimated costs and analyze any differences.

·        Report all sales leads to the Vice President and or President.

·        Follow procedures set forth to maintain company standards and objectives.

·        Responsible for achieving personal yearly sales volume.

This position pays anywhere from $85,000 - $125,000 a year plus bonus if the company does well.
