What You Will DoAs a Commissioning Engineer in the Maritime department, you will ensure that electrical installations in public areas function perfectly before delivery. You will work on passenger vessels, yachts, and other maritime projects where comfort, safety, and reliability are essential.Typical areas include salons, restaurants, corridors, wheelhouses, and other public spaces on board.You will be responsible for bringing installations to life. Your responsibilities include:Commissioning lighting systems, lighting scenes, and automation systemsFunctional testing of switchboards and onboard electrical networksChecking and adjusting energy distribution in public areasTesting comfort systems and integrated installationsIdentifying and resolving faults during the finishing phase of projectsCoordinating with engineers, technicians, and shipyards regarding technical optimizationsPerforming final inspections prior to deliverySupporting sea trials and handover to the clientYou will work at various shipyard locations in the Netherlands. Also you will travel around 3 to 4 times to Serbia to visit the shipyard overthere. You will be involved in projects from the early phase through to final delivery.What We OfferYou will work on technically advanced maritime projects within a professional and committed team.
