Commissioning Engineer Apply
As a Commissioning Engineer at HITEC Power Protection, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our state-of-the-art Dynamic Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems are installed and function according to specifications and customer requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and perform the startup and commissioning processes, ensuring that all systems are operating optimally. You will work closely with our Service Technician, customers, and other engineers to ensure that systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Is responsible during the installation phase of new systems, can upgrade existing systems and has the final responsibility on site for commissioning, services, and Site Acceptance Testing.
- Has the lead during commissioning projects where it is possible to have multiple units installed
- Oversee and execute commissioning activities for our Dynamic UPS installations at client locations
- Perform detailed system inspections and functional testing to verify performance against specifications.
- Collaborate with project engineers and installation teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during commissioning.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance.
- Document all commissioning procedures and report on status and quality to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the commissioning process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programs, and UPS technology.
- Previous experience in commissioning or field service engineering is preferred.
- Proficient in technical documentation and able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively for on-site commissioning activities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in various environments.
