Communications Specialist & Designer Part-Time (up to 22.5 hours/week - partially remote), $17.50 - $24/per hour

We strive to engage our community through awareness, advocacy, and prevention. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Communication Specialist & Designer to join our team and play a crucial role in the prevention and awareness through communication, digital and traditional marketing.
The role involves developing communication strategies, managing social media, creating materials, and updating website content to promote our goals and mission. Additionally, you'll contribute to design projects for fundraising events and attend them. We're looking for someone with outstanding written and visual communication skills; and strong proficiency in social media communication strategies, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress website builder, and Microsoft Office. Also, a deep commitment to supporting survivors, a creative approach, and a passion for the mission and community impact.
Qualifications needed are a Bachelors degree in a related field preferred (e.g., PR, Marketing, communication studies) and or work experience respected. Experience in marketing, outreach, and awareness building is preferred, and nonprofit experience is a plus. Competitive benefits package; salary based on experience. Must complete 70-hour counselor/advocate required training.
