Position Summary

  • The Community Development Coordinator creates mutually beneficial collaborations with key community influencing organizations and network providers, to raise, enhance, and solidify the health plans brand throughout our service areas.
  • Responsible for driving, generating, and meeting a set number of monthly qualified consent to contact (lead) cards and marketing events per department's expectation.
  • Secures sustainable new business opportunity sources in the assigned areas.
  • Contributes to executing, and monitoring strategic plans which include community outreach, community influencer relationship building, sales seminars, and beneficial marketing activities.
  • Partners and prioritizes key community-based organizations, network providers, and agencies that serve our target population.
  • Supports sales pipeline by promoting health plan presence, fostering, and enhancing favorable relationships with target community organizations.
  • Coordinates and facilitates outreach activities, special events, and presentations in support of the health plan's sales and membership growth goals.
  • Ensures all growth and retention efforts are properly documented in department applications.
    Also ensures adequate pre-sales or other collateral materials are available to participants in any marketing, sales/member seminar events as appropriate.
  • Maintains compliance with the marketing guidelines of the state laws and regulations and determine the type of event as defined by CMS.


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of outreach/marketing experience interacting with underserved communities
  • 2 years of public/group speaking experience.
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft office applications and using databases.
  • Valid Driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and off-shift as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual, Spanish/English is a plus
  • Life/Health Producer's License, AZ State
  • Ability to work independently and travel alone
  • Excellent presentation/oral communication skills
  • Strong organization skills, creativity and member-focused approach
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously

  • High School Diploma

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$19.
52 - $40.
90

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
