Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Compensation Analyst to support the compensation function through analytical and administrative work. This role partners closely with the Compensation Manager, Payroll, and HR teams to assist with compensation analysis, data maintenance, and system support.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong Excel skills, an analytical mindset, and a desire to learn compensation fundamentals from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support compensation-related analysis, reporting, and data validation
  • Assist with maintaining compensation data within internal systems
  • Partner with the Compensation Manager and Payroll team on ongoing initiatives
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and ad hoc analysis using Excel
  • Support compensation processes, audits, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Interact professionally with managers and HR partners across the organization

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hard / Technical Skills

  • Strong Excel proficiency, with emphasis on formulas and data manipulation
  • Comfort working with analytical data and learning new systems
  • Experience or interest in compensation, finance, economics, or HR analytics

Soft Skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and be trained
  • Adaptability and coachable mindset
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Systems & Tools

  • Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas preferred)
  • CaptivateIQ (or similar compensation systems) – training provided

Education & Experience

  • No minimum years of experience required
  • Ideal for recent graduates
  • Preferred academic backgrounds: Finance, Economics, or HR (other analytical degrees considered)
  • Prior compensation or HR experience is a plus but not required

Work Schedule & Location

  • On-site MD, five days per week
