The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a qualified HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist who will play an important role in supporting the organization’s payroll and employee benefits processes. This position helps ensure that employee compensation, statutory benefits, and related HR records are handled accurately and efficiently, supporting the hospital’s commitment to employee care and operational excellence.What’s the Role All About?Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Process and manage employee payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.Process and monitor government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, including loans, contributions, and related documentation.Maintain and update employee compensation and benefits records in HR systems.Support timekeeping validation and ensure proper coordination with payroll processing.Prepare reports related to payroll, benefits, and employee records when required.Assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and government contributions.Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to compensation and benefits.Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies regarding employee benefits processing.Who Are We Looking For?An effective HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist must possess the following qualities and skills:Attention to Detail Ensures accuracy in payroll processing and benefits administration.System Navigation & Technical Skills Comfortable working with HR systems and payroll tools.Fast Learner Able to quickly adapt to processes, policies, and digital systems.Professionalism & Confidentiality Maintains discretion when handling sensitive employee information.Collaboration & Communication Works well with employees and HR team members to provide timely support.Qualifications:Graduate of Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or any related course.Experience in payroll processing, timekeeping, and HR records management is an advantage.Knowledge in processing government benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG (including loans and contributions).Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Willing to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.Join our team and contribute to delivering efficient and reliable HR support that helps our employees focus on what matters most — providing excellent patient care.
